Victoria

We planned a last weekend away in our cabin on Mayne Island. Candis and I took a detour on the ferry and visited Victoria on Vancouver Island.


There were loads of these bears all over Victoria and Vancouver. Blank bears were given out to artists who painted various designs on them. At the end of the event, the bears were auctioned off for charity. This bear, in Victoria's Inner Harbour, next to the Provincial Legislature Building, is the original and therefore bland.



Somewhat less bland, the "Nightmare Bear" was commissioned by a London Dungeon style wax museum tourist trap.
