Seattle

One last day trip before heading back to work. It took us seven hours round trip to drive to Seattle, and we spent six hours there. Oh well, it was worth it.




We used to make fairly regular family trips to Seattle, and "Le Pannier" bakery and coffee shop was always one of the main events. It was always expensive but high quality. Sadly, they've gone downmarket very recently. Now it's just another coffee shop. They do have a Starbucks just down the street to compete with; it's the first Starbucks in the world.





Pike Street Market is just how I remembered it. A lively and colourful place.
